Rugby fans, mark your calendars, the All Blacks are back in Wellington next year! 2026 is shaping up to be a blockbuster year for Sky Stadium, with the All Blacks returning to the capital for the Nations Championship showdown against Italy.
This rare fixture promises to deliver a unique, family-friendly afternoon match experience with a kick off at 5.10pm. The event will be particularly special as Italy makes its first-ever visit to Wellington, bringing an exciting new international flavour to test rugby at Sky Stadium.
Sky Stadium Chief Executive, Warrick Dent, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming clash:
“We’re excited to be hosting the All Blacks versus Italy match; it’s always special hosting test rugby here in the capital. With the family-friendly kick-off time, we’ll be focused on creating an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages. We look forward to welcoming supporters from across the region and the country, for what will be one of just four home fixtures for the All Blacks next year.”
With only three crucial Tests in July, every match will count as the All Blacks look to cement their position on the Nations Championship points table.
