The team behind the scenes

Behind the scenes at Hnry Stadium is a team of passionate people who keep the place buzzing.

The Wellington Regional Stadium Trust (WRST) was established by Wellington City Council and Greater Wellington Regional Council under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957. Our role? To plan, build, own and operate the stadium and to make sure it continues to thrive as a world-class home for sport, entertainment and culture.

We’re also a registered charity (Charities Commission #CC10754), and we report back regularly to both Councils. Each year we hold an Annual General Meeting that's open to the public.

People

The Trust has a Board of Trustees appointed by the two Councils:

Day to day, the stadium is run by a dedicated team who make sure every event, match and concert runs smoothly an includes the following:

  • Chief Executive Officer - Warrick Dent
  • Chief Financial Officer - Katherine Andersen
  • General Manager Contracts and Commercial - Brandon Chik
  • General Manager Events & Operations - Mathew Hellyer
  • General Manager Facilities - Terry Clubb
  • Turf Manager - Hagen Faith

Annual reports

In September each year, the Wellington Regional Stadium Trust publishes its annual report incorporating the audited financial statements of the Trust. A summary of the Economic Impact Reports done on the building of the Stadium is also included.
