On Saturday, the stadium was truly full to the brim, with fans packing every corner of the venue as the Hurricanes took on the Chiefs in front of a capacity crowd. It was a fitting finale to the 2026 Super Rugby season, with anticipation building throughout the week and tickets selling out in just 15 minutes - a reflection of the excitement surrounding the occasion.

The Wellington weather never let up, but that did little to dampen the night. If anything, it became part of the story. With a sold-out crowd, a Grand Final on the line, and supporters braving the conditions, the atmosphere inside Hnry Stadium was one of the most electric we have ever experienced.
